STARDOLL GIVES YOU VIRUSES! WATCH OUT!! PLEASE READ! REALLY IMPORTANT!!!

Hey guys. This is really important, please read it. The whole thing. That title was a little misleading, but oh well.

Well, as you might know, the new LE came out today. I wanted to buy something for 20sd, I needed 10sd so I went on the 'Earn Stardollars' thing. I clicked on the Open Office downloader, because you can earn 10sd from it. What a bloody mistake I made. Ok guys, now, READ THE RED WRITING.....

DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM STARDOLL. NEVER. EVER. EVER.

You probably want to know why. Well, here's the story. I download this thing, and when I installed it, my friend Norton Security sent me a message saying they blocked a Trojan Virus form attacking my computer. A Trojan, I've been told, is very dangerous. And the thing is, not everyone has security on their computer, so most people will be at risk. Just remember, DON'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING or you'll f**k up your computer. Like I nearly did. Thank heavens for Norton Security. Wow. That was scary.

STARDOLL, YOUR A BUNCH OF CROOKS! CRIMINALS! PUTTING VIRUSES IN OUR COMPUTERS! And this also might give you an idea not to give Stardoll your credit card details because they might be a load of fraud criminals, you never know. Sorry if I scared anyone, I don't have any proof of it,  but just don't download Open Office because I know it gives you a Trojan. And if you don't have internet security, you can't get rid of it. Then your well and truly in the cow pat. Well and truly.

Much love and luck and hope and worries, Loob3 x :D :D

PS. It wasn't just 1 Virus, it was like 5. Seriously.

  1. Actually Open Office (which I use) has no trojans and it's a safe, free and opensource replacement for Microsoft crappy paid Office.Your Norton Security was all worked up about nothing and that's common. I've used many security programs and Norton is kind of the redneck of them; it shoots first and asks questions later, usually overreacting. It's also slow and retarded (the redneck thing). You should get a different security program as it's normal for you to get weird warnings about safe things that Norton mistakenly takes for having virus or trojans.

  2. Nah, I got the viruses as soon as it had finished installing, but thinking about it now, it also installed other programs too. It was like a music thing or something? I think that gave me the virus because I remember now I didn't let Open Office install properly, I kinda panicked and shut down my computer straight after Norton had cleared the Trojans up. Did you get a music program installed when you got your's? Or do ya reckon it was just a faulty site? If it is then Stardoll better take it down now. And no, my Norton Security has never done this before, I think it was definitely the stuff that installed that gave me a virus because my computer when all retarded too, it took ages to shut down. Also, there were 2 more viruses on there after I scanned a few minutes later. So no, I don't think its to do with the security, it was definitely a virus. Oh well, I just gotta hope nothing likes this ever happens again lol :) Thanks for the help anyway x

  3. It's not actually Stardoll's fault. I found the offer thing at Google. I downloaded it, and Avast said that there was Trojan and lots of other stuff. By the way, it's Honey Banana x]

  4. I had a Trojan Virus once, I didnt have any security either -.- It literally shuts down your computer bit by bit. I turned it off, didnt touch it at all, took it to our local computer fixer uper xD, got it taken off, then got Microsoft Security Essentials and always look out for viruses. But yeah, it sucks. No saftey means a messed up computer. Everyone should get a virus protection program. :]

  5. This must be what happened to my computer. I got a brand new laptop and after only about 6 months I downloaded something (don't remember what) and it broke my brand new computer. My boyfriend's friend put in a new hard drive for me so he basically built me a computer, for free. I always wondered wtf happened and now I know!

  6. You should only download things from 'official' sites. For example, you should only download office from www.microsoft.com

    1. a trojan virus is basically as it's name says. If you remember the historic trojan horse this should make sense.Basically it's when you let a thing be downloaded but secretly it is a large virus. It wins by taking out your computer bit by bit.
